Scott Hays

Scott Hays serves as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Applied Data Trends, Inc (ADT). In his current role, he is responsible for daily business operations, including business development, marketing, communications, and execution of contracts.

Mr. Hays received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Huntsville campus of Faulkner University of Montgomery, Alabama and holds a Master of Science in Acquisition and Contract Management degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.

Mr. Hays served eight years in the United States Army working in the areas of communications and RADAR technology. His industry experience ranges from information technology support services to business development and now corporate business operations.

Mr. Hays was instrumental in crafting the successful open-architecture, non-proprietary business model employed by ADT today as they deliver mission critical capabilities to the Warfighter while remaining trusted stewards of the U.S. taxpayer investment in military technology. The underlying premise of his approach to business is to take a "servant's mentality" in support of the ADT employee base, and to "get a good night's sleep every night, knowing I did the right thing for the right reason each and every day for the Warfighter and the taxpayer."
